Meet the Overs and the Unders: An Activity Book to Help Children Understand Their Sensory Needs was written by our very own Dr. Jackie Brown, DrOT, OTR/L. This is a children’s book with interactive pages to help children determine whether they are over- or under- responsive to sensory input from each of the 8 sensory systems (vestibular, visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, gustatory, proprioceptive, and introception). Discovering whether someone is over- or under-responsive helps determine what sensory tools will best meet their sensory needs to help them feel more comfortable and confident.
